How it works
Up and running
in three steps
STEP 01
Grant permissions
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Add Murmur to the allow list so it can listen for your hotkey and type into other apps. Grant microphone access when prompted.
STEP 02
Choose your hotkey
Click the menu bar icon → Settings. Pick any hotkey — Option, Control, CapsLock, F-keys, or mouse buttons. Optionally connect an LLM to clean up your text.
STEP 03
Hold and speak
Place your cursor anywhere. Hold ⌥ Right Option, speak, release. Your words appear instantly — no extra clicks.
